Joanna Scholl builds and grows successful brands with innovative, results-driven marketing. She is the senior vice president of marketing and communications for The Paley Center for Media, where she leads marketing, public relations, digital social media, and promotions. Prior to joining The Paley Center, Scholl was HBO’s vice president of consumer marketing and marketing strategy, where she led the development and execution of buzzworthy marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships and experiential promotions. She launched the network’s most high-profile and innovative marketing campaigns for programming including “Game of Thrones,” “Westworld,” “Big Little Lies” and “Silicon Valley.” Scholl has received multiple CTAM, Mark, Effie, Promax, Cannes Lion, Davey and Buzz Awards, along with the VentureFuel Visionary Award. She serves on the board of the Orphaned Starfish Foundation, which has served 12,000 orphans with computer centers in 26 countries. In 2010, Scholl won the Andrew Heiskell Community Service Award, recognizing Time Warner employees globally making exceptional contributions to public service.
