Sean Brown

Sessions:Sean Brown is global director of communications and external relations at McKinsey, where he leads the engagement of senior executives on the consultancy’s strategy and corporate finance thought leadership and client service capabilities.
Sean’s areas of expertise and responsibilities include: digital communications/marketing strategy, community building/engagement, thought leadership, and knowledge convenings (he has moderated more than 200 events). Previously, Sean served as global director of alumni relations at McKinsey, and prior to that led alumni relations at the MIT Sloan School of Management. A former McKinsey consultant, Sean has also held senior executive and board roles with a number of technology businesses.
Sean earned his MBA at MIT and is a board member of the MIT CIO Symposium and the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Association (and has hosted more than 60 events as Career Services Chair). Sean also holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Great Distinction from McGill University.
