Vicki Guinn leads public relations for Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, a 105-year-old urban hospital Level I trauma center in one of Oregon’s largest healthcare systems. In her one-person office, she manages media relations, community engagement, issues management/PIO duties, social media, reputation management and brand journalism.  Guinn previously worked as a marketing manager for a small Medicare provider and in media and community relations for Kaiser Permanente NW. Throughout her career, she’s gained experience and a passion for engaging with diverse audiences on issues related to health. She is a part-time communication instructor at a local community college and holds a BS in broadcast communication from Oregon State University and an MS in communication theory from the University of Portland.
