Media Research Manager—Facebook
Brian Robinson leads the media partnerships research team at Facebook, analyzing behavioral data to understand how and why people find and consume news and entertainment content in order to develop best practices, educate publishers and public figures, and inform product teams about how best to serve content creators. Before joining Facebook in 2014, he led audience development for Yahoo’s media properties and worked as a media consultant at the market research firm SmithGeiger. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from UC Davis and worked the first part of his career as a programmer and engineer. He received an M.A. in playwriting from the Yale School of Drama and has spent the past 16 years telling stories with data.
