Jennifer Johnston is head of global employer branding at Salesforce. She’s an employee engagement marketer, corporate culture builder and HR tech geek. In her role she carries out PR, marketing and advertising strategies to build the organization’s reputation as a “Best Place to Work,” nurturing relationships with passive prospects and driving the candidate pipeline while also building pride and loyalty in current employees. She also consults with Salesforce customers on how to combine culture with the organization’s social and mobile technologies to recruit, develop and deeply engage employees. Previously at Salesforce, Johnston led global internal communications; before that, she led global employer branding, recruitment marketing and internal communications at VMware. She holds degrees in journalism and political science from Gonzaga University and lives in Sonoma, California, where she enjoys cooking, gardening, cycling and living the #winecountrylife.
